Letters to the Editor: Join the IPop Discussion

We love to get letters from listeners, artists and anyone who visits the site! We want Intelligent Pop to be a community of music lovers who communicate and even debate with one another. We'll publish most anything you send.

Send letters here: letters@intelligentpop.com

You are invited to comment on anything IPop-related for publication in our web magazine, our newsletter, or both.

Comment on something you read in the online magazine or the hardcopy newsletter you receive each month!

Tell us if you think we got our rankings right or wrong!

Comment on something happening in the world of music and the arts today!

When you write, please note the following:

1. Keep letters to around 250-300 words or less, typical length for newspaper letters to the editor

2. We reserve the right to edit letters for clarity and (what we consider) correct punctuation and grammar. We will try to preserve, of course, the exact content of the letter.

3. We try to publish all letters, but depending on volume, may not be able to. We reserve the right not to publish a letter.

4. We normally publish first name, last initial, and city of residence. So please make sure and include your city. We do not publish e-mail addresses or full last names unless you give us permission to do so. Please let us know if we may publish this additional information. Please let us know if you’d like us to suppress your city of residence, or even your first name, and we’ll do that.

5. Criticism is a part of artistic growth. You may criticize the music of the bands of our site, and you may suggest we are crazy to rank them as high as we do, but if you wish to be critical, try to be respectful of the musicians. These musicians work hard at what they do, and any comments we deem to be unkind will not be published.
